In response to the needs of small, progressive businesses, bcreative has created a range of especially cost-effective small and starter business packages. From a business card or letterhead, to a multi-page brochure; from a complete one page website, to a multi-page web design package.
Unique designs for unique businesses
For our small business website packages, we have used our experience to create robust web frameworks from which we can build unique sites to suit small and start-up businesses – while passing on the savings to you! Unlike traditional templates, our frameworks are just the foundations upon which we can create a distinctive and effective professional website for your business.
The trouble with 'templates' is that the entire structure and look and feel are pretty much set in stone, so the content (the most important thing) has to be shoe-horned into the pre-defined spaces and positions. Whereas our 'framework' approach starts with your words and pictures and then uses basic building blocks to create a suitable website to hold that content. Not quite 'bespoke' design, but the next best thing. And it's us who do the work, saving you time and grief! (and ultimately, money...)
This approach is impractical for traditional graphic design (for printed material) due to its more visual construction, but the nature of website development makes it a viable option for that medium.
However, to compliment the cost-effective approach to web design offered by our Small Business Packages, we opted to offer similarly keenly priced printed material too. So you get the same quality and attention to detail for your printed material as for your new website. All the usual items are available, from a business card or leaflet, to a brochure or roll-up exhibition display. Prices are for typical 'static' sites and include domain registration and hosting, but exclude 'Flash®', database-driven or e-commerce (shopping) sites, or those with large numbers of media files (images, video, audio etc). See 'the small print' below for more information.
Our 'website-in-a-page' packages are a significant step above the average single 'business card' webpages often seen on the web. We have developed flexible frameworks which can contain just about everything a small or start-up business could need.
They are truly a complete 'website-in-a-page', capable of holding a decent amount of text, pictures, contact form, slide show, pop out gallery, twitter feed... the list goes on. If you don't have enough material for a multi-page site, but still want to make a professional impact, then these could be the solution for you.
These packages come in two flavours: Basic and Super. Both offer the same flexibility and solid foundation, but the 'Super' option just has a few more bells and whistles, such as a slide show and picture gallery.
Multi-page websites are built using the same framework approach, but spread over several pages like a traditional website. Again, using one of our frameworks enables us to build you a unique website, tailored to your business, not one shoe-horned into a pre-made template.

Prices are inclusive of design, artwork, full colour print and delivery (to one UK address), but exclude any special finishes or express turnaround times. Delivery dates will be confirmed prior to commencement of work.
These – and many more – printed items can be created to compliment your existing material, or be of a completely fresh design. If you are ordering several items, or come back later to do so, we will ensure that the design is carried through all of the items for complete consistency, which is so important in creating the maximum impact for your business.

Pictures
If you are struggling to supply pictures for your website or leaflet, bcreative can provide legal, royalty-free stock images from just £12 each, or can visit your premises to photograph your staff, products or workplace from £200 per half day (including travel to one location in Cumbria, County Durham or North Yorkshire. Locations further afield by quotation).
Copywriting
Or if writing about yourself isn't your forte, we can do that too. A typical cost for a one page 'website-in-a-page' would be £70, while a small website (up to 5 pages) would be £140, or £210 for 10 pages. Firm prices by quotation.
Website extras
There are two main optional extras regarding additional email functionality:
• Increase the standard mailbox capacity to 2Gb! for £10pa (per address)
• Email virus scanning is £24pa (per domain)
Printing extras
Special finishes such as gloss laminate covers to brochures, or different paper weights can make a big difference, but the number and variety of options make it impossible to create an itemised menu to cover them all. So if you have any special requirements please get in touch and we will offer suggestions and upgrade pricing.
Our pricing structure is very simple:
everything you need is included!
There are a few options (see 'Options' button) and of course the dreaded VAT, but we wanted to price the Small Business products as complete packages so that you didn't have to hunt around, adding this and that together to find the actual cost. So what you see is what you pay (plus VAT!).
We also aimed to take any stress or complexity out of using a creative studio – so there's no jargon, just straight-forward advice and relevant creative ideas. Advice is free and there’s no obligation – just ask for what you need!
The prices shown are just an example of what typical items would cost (we can't list every possibility), so if you want something different, please just contact us and we will email you a written no obligation, package price and delivery schedule within one working day.
While these prices are for good quality creative, print and web development work, it should be noted that bcreative's Small Business Packages are intended as simple and cost-effective entry points for smaller businesses, and as such are not a substitute for our fully bespoke creative services. If you require a more comprehensive package, please contact us for a detailed discussion of your project.
how it works
We've tried to make the process as straight-forward as possible. So you just tell us what you want, then we give you confirmation of the price and delivery date. When you are ready to proceed just:
- send us your approval and 50% deposit
- plus your logo, text, pictures or examples for us to follow
- then...
- we start work creating your design and adding the text and pictures
- the design will be submitted to you for review
- you send us any comments you have
- we make the alterations and resubmit the design for review/sign off
- when that's done...
- we set up your hosting and email account...
- and your website goes live on the Internet
- we send you instructions on how to update the site and set up your
email addresses, and give you support to get you up and running - and/or...
- the artwork goes off to the printers...
- and the finished job is delivered to you a few days later
- last but not least...
- you send us the remaining 50% balance
- ... and finally,
- we all live happily ever after!
the small print...
WEB
¹ Domain name registration is for two years and is renewable bi-annually (currently £18 .co.uk / £26 .com). Domain types available with the package prices: .co.uk, .com, .net, .info, .biz, .org, .org.uk, .eu (nb: .eu domain names are registered for one year and are renewable annually – currently £13). Other types are available but can be relatively expensive at up to £50pa. Please ask for a quote for a specific domain suffix.
² Hosting and email service is for 12 months and is renewable annually (currently £48).
The domain name will be registered in your name (with bcreative as technical and billing contact). If you wish, it can be transferred away to another hosting company free of charge after the first year. In this event you would become responsible for arranging hosting and domain name renewals, and bcreative's support would cease.
¹ ² You will be invoiced one month before the start of each renewal period, with the option to cancel.
All domain name and hosting fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable. Non-payment of these fees may result in the removal of your site, loss of your email accounts and of your domain name. Non-payment in itself does not constitute cancellation of the service.
The initial cost of the website is a one-off charge. Only subsequent additions or alterations are chargeable.
GENERAL
A full quotation/pro-forma invoice will be submitted to you for approval prior to commencement of work.
Payment terms are 50% of the total quotation value including VAT with order prior to commencement of work. The full balance becoming due on delivery.
Payment can be accepted via Bank Transfer, Cheque, or Credit/Debit Card (via PayPal – no surcharge).
Established ‘Small Business Package’ customers may be eligible for 30 day account terms, subject to status.
